"gROW WITH ME CLASSES"
Our Religious Education classes begin at the Pre - Kindergarten level all the way to high school at Confirmation and even beyond. We can boast of a vibrant Post-Confirmation class with our older high school students now sharing their faith.
Catechists of the RCIA program (adults and children) will soon notify respective parents regarding diocesan celebrations. |
sacramentsFor a child to receive any of the three sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation), they must complete two full years of RE classes. The first year is of instruction and the second consists of intense preparation.
It requires the parents to be committed to their child's religious growth. |
THE CONFRATERNITY OF CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE (CCD) HAS BEEN EXISTENCE AT ST.PETER'S FROM ALMOST THE BEGINNING OF OUR PARISH HISTORY
IN 1962. It has evolved with the devotion, dedication and love of its volunteers and especially our families, into a vibrant, traditional and devout ministry to, not only its thousands of students but their families. We are an "old school" church with strong values, and so too our Religious Education & Formation ministry retains the teachings of our faith and delivers them from a grace that can only come from our beloved Savior. |
